Thursday, August 6, 2015. Tuesday afternoon, I received a call from my mom that Dad has been sick. He had just been to the VA hospital in DesMoines three days prior for severe neck pain. They gave him a numbing shot and then a muscle relaxant injection. It did help slightly but then got worse again. This morning, Thursday, August 6th, I called and talked to the ICU nurse. His spinal tap was negative. Thank God! Prayers for continued healing.
Turning 30 is certainly not a cut off point because we should never stop progressing but the timing for me just works out to light a fire under my butt. My biggest fear is becoming stagnant, in any aspect of life, and taking on these 30 day challenges is my solution to insuring a colorful and exciting future.
